Trained at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milano and at the AG Fronzoni Workshop School, Massimo Canali gained early experience in New York at Wajskol Inc., where he encountered figures such as Massimo Vignelli and Paul Rand.

Back in Milano, he collaborated with Makio Hasuike and Michele De Lucchi before founding his own studio.
His work spans brand identity, digital systems, editorial and spatial communication—developing visual languages defined not only by aesthetics, but by structure, tension and long-term coherence across evolving media environments.
