The product is a natural mineral water sourced from a spring located at high altitude in the Apuan Alps.
Challenge
To design a bottle system that combines functional performance, ergonomic usability and clear product differentiation within a highly competitive FMCG market.
Approach
In collaboration with designer Marco Zito, we developed the bottle form and its packaging system through an iterative design and prototyping process involving multiple technical stakeholders.
The focus was on aligning industrial constraints with user experience and brand clarity.
System
The design system includes:
• ergonomic bottle structure design
• reinforced form geometry for structural stability
• differentiated labeling system for product variants
• color-coded visual identity (still, lightly sparkling, sparkling)
• integrated packaging and product readability system
Outcome
The final result is a functional and distinctive packaging system that improves usability, strengthens shelf visibility and ensures clear differentiation from competitors.
The design integrates form, function and communication into a single coherent product system.
